How to Unlock a Password-Protected PDF (When You Know the Password)

Password-protected PDFs are common for invoices, HR documents, and financial statements. But what happens when you need to remove that password later — say, to combine the file with others, or because it's simply no longer needed?

Important: You Must Know the Password

For obvious security reasons, ConvertMyPDF.in's Unlock PDF tool only removes a password that you already know and enter yourself. We do not attempt to crack, guess or bypass PDF encryption — that would be both unethical and, in many cases, illegal.

How the Unlock Process Works

1. Open the Unlock PDF tool.
2. Upload your protected PDF.
3. Enter the current password.
4. Download a new, unlocked copy of your file.

A Note on the Resulting File
